With Philips Design as a collaborating partner, World Design Forum conduct a design research on the future of health in an ageing society: “The Future Art of Ageing”.

Imagine a possible future where the average life expectancy of people may increase to 150 years and where the majority of the population may be older than the current retirement age. Such a future scenario will fundamentally change the way we live our lives; it will force us to re-examine our systems of employment and care provision and the choices we make to enjoy a longer life of higher quality. Imagine having access to very different technologies, social and socio-economic structures and relationships, financial realities and a different approach to health care; all preparing us to age well.

On June 30th 2015, “The Future Art of Ageing” officially starts with a Kickoff & Expertmeeting.
